Our team of CIS (Computer Information System) engineers started developing POS software since the summer of 2000 as a graduating project. The main idea was to listen to the user and develop a software product that is totally designed by the user’s vision (not the programmer’s vision, as is the case with many software titles today). This project proved to be a big hit with a couple of local vendors, after which many more businesses showed interest in our POS software. Since then we have worked hard as a freelancer team on developing and re-developing our POS software products to best suit the business owners’ and users’ needs. In the winter of 2004 we officially formed and registered our Company “Alexandria Computers, LLC” and continued to re-develop our POS software products to best suit the business owners’ and users’ needs.
Aside from partnering up with many powerful companies to provide seamless integration of many different POS hardware components with our software, our most significant partnerships were formed in early 2005 and 2007. In 2005 we have partnered with CAM-Commerce Solutions (One of the most recognized names in the POS industry that is public on the NASDAQ stock exchange since 1987). This partnership produced a seamlessly integrated credit/debit/gift card and check processing system, for USA and Canada, that is now a part of all of our POS software products. In 2007 we have partnered with POS-X, Inc. (One of the most recognized POS Hardware manufacturers) to offer full, business hardware and software solutions to our clients.
Along the way we have earned the industry-wide recognition of our brand and acquired many other recognitions and awards from different entities.
